Back and Forth is a series of drawings that are a continuation of Hall’s journeys alongside the L.A. River, near where the artist resides. The strong dark lines and heavy movements seen in this series take the viewer to this location that runs along a major highway, where the sounds of cars buzz and momentous architecture comprises of roundabouts and designed off ramps . These works on paper are aggressive and bold, bringing elements of the urban sprawl through the eyes of Hall into your space
